Under contract with Northern Moraine Wastewater Reclamation District, Trine provided services to replace Sanitary Sewer for the entire town of Holiday Hills, IL. This project included major dewatering operations, a 36′ deep lift station, and over 25,000 feet of 6″-8″ PVC Sanitary Sewer & Services.
Project Components:
- Sanitary Sewer Installation
- Sanitary Service Installation
- Concrete Curb and Gutter Removal and Replacement
- Sidewalk and Driveway Apron Removal and Replacement
- Earth Excavation
- Concrete Pavement Patching
- Full Depth Asphalt Paving
- Asphalt Grind and Overlay
- Landscape Restoration
- Lift Station Installation
- Erosion Control/Inlet and Pipe Protection
- Deep Well Dewatering
Due to the surrounding lakes/streams and the overall nature of the area, the installation of the sanitary sewer would not have been possible without assessing the shallow groundwater. Trine worked with companies such as Thatcher and Mersino Dewatering to create plans to dewater the areas needed. Between regular open sump and deep well operations, the groundwater was adequately removed from the trench and directed to the nearby outlets.
A brand new lift station was installed at the Northwest corner of the town, with a new building and fully fenced in site.
