Project Consultancy:
In a effort to cause less of a disturbance to the owners headquarters building Trine Construction Corp. suggested the use of directional boring to install new Ductile Iron Watermain in one location that was proposed for auger boring and another that was proposed for open-cut construction.
The results of this suggestion were a significant savings to the auger boring method of construction, conservation of existing newly paved areas, trees, concrete flat work, curb and gutter and existing storm sewer facilities. The overall savings was significant to the owner and the esthetic disturbance was brought to a bare minimum.
The owner has been very pleased with the efforts of Trine Construction Corp. in the use of cost effective construction methods as they apply to this project.
